Who we are
We are ordinary people from all ages and backgrounds who have come to know and love Jesus Christ and want to please Him in the way that we live our lives and worship Him.
We are a part of Newfrontiers a worldwide family of around 500 churches led by Terry Virgo, on a mission to establish the Kingdom of God; by restoring the church; making disciples; training leaders and planting churches.
Helping one another to recognize and develop our natural God-given abilities so that we can use these gifts to serve and encourage others in the church as well as in our community is something our leadership team model, teach and value.
As a growing church we have a growing number of folk who carry various responsibilities. We aim to teach, enable, equip and release people to serve God so that they too, can then train and release others.
We are called “The Well”, because of the Bible story in John Chapter 4 (verses 6 – 42). Jesus speaks to an ordinary woman (who’d come to draw water from the well where he was sitting) and He turns her life around. We similarly, desire for our church to be a place of refreshing; where people can encounter Jesus and find new hope for their lives.
